Writings by the members of the Chicago Chapter of veterans for peace

CPS is the most militarized public school system in the country. The ChicagoVFP is working to change that.

Author: Veterans for Peace Chicago

We are an active Chapter of veterans and allies who abide by the Veterans For Peace Statement of Purpose and our motto - Peace at Home, Peace Abroad. There will never be international peace until there is domestic peace. The Chicago Chapter is working on many fronts to engage the community in dialogue about militarization and its human, financial and environmental costs. VFP is an international 501(c)3 organization founded in 1985. VFP is the only veterans organization in the world that is recognized by the United Nations.
